About The Echo Classroom

Building Confidence In Cardiac Ultrasound

The Echo Classroom was created to simplify cardiac ultrasound through modern instruction, visual learning, and real-world clinical reasoning.

Too many students enter — or return to — echocardiography feeling overwhelmed, pressured to memorize information without truly understanding how concepts connect inside the clinical environment. Echo Classroom was built to change that.

Founded by cardiac sonographer and educator Minks Koroma,                               MSRC, MSJ, RDCS, RDMS, RVT, The Echo Classroom focuses on                              bridging the gap between registry preparation and real clinical                              confidence.

Rather than relying on outdated teaching methods or                                              information overload, Echo Classroom was designed around:

  • Visual learning

  • Simplified high-yield instruction

  • ASE-aligned concepts

  • Real-world scanning workflow

  • Registry-focused clinical reasoning

Whether you are:

  • a student beginning your echo journey,

  • a sonographer preparing for boards,

  • or a working technologist refining advanced concepts,

The Echo Classroom was built to help make the learning                                                process  clearer, more modern, and more clinically relevant.

Minks Koroma is a cardiac sonographer, educator, and clinical leader with experience spanning echocardiography education, hospital leadership, and advanced cardiac imaging environments.

Throughout his career, he has served in roles including:

  • Program Director

  • Cardiac Imaging Manager

  • Lead Cardiac & Vascular Instructor

  • Clinical Educator & Mentor

His clinical experience includes:

  • ICU and critical care echocardiography

  • High-volume hospital cardiac imaging

  • Advanced echocardiographic assessment

  • Sonographer training and workflow development

  • Registry preparation instruction

  • Multispecialty ultrasound experience

Having worked within large hospital systems and fast-paced clinical environments, his teaching philosophy focuses on bridging the gap between registry preparation and real-world clinical performance.

Echo Classroom was built from that experience — combining modern instruction, visual learning, and practical clinical reasoning to help students and sonographers build lasting confidence in cardiac ultrasound.

What Makes Echo Classroom Different

ASE-Aligned Education

  • Built around modern echocardiography standards and clinically relevant instruction.

Real Clinical Workflow

  • Focused on how echocardiography is actually performed in modern labs.

Registry-Focused Simplification

  • Complex concepts broken down into practical, understandable instruction.

Visual Learning First

  • Designed to help students connect concepts visually rather than relying purely on memorization.

Built For Modern Learners
